High-Voltage Test and Measuring Techniques
The tutorials are lectures (seminars) focusing on the scientific and technical
basis of high-voltage (HV) testing. Special attention is given to the introduction,
interpretation and application of the relevant international IEC standards,
particullarly to those of the IEC Technical Committee 42 (HV Test and Measuring Techniques): IEC 60060 (parts 1 to 3),
IEC 60270, IEC 61083 and others.
The tutorials are given at the level of a masters course at a graduated school or technical university.
They contain practical examples and calculations, but do not require any advanced knowledge in mathematics or other basic sciences. Consequently the tutorials are well suited for managers and engineers of test fields and services, designers of HV equipment, researchers and students of graduated schools.
The number of participants may vary between 10 and 30, but should not exceed 40.
The tutorials are given in English.
The tutor of the lectures is > Dr. Wolfgang Hauschild, former Technical Director of HIGHVOLT,
well experienced in the field of practical HV testing, international standardization (IEC) and research (CIGRE) and well versed in at university level.
