On September 2, professor Karsten Glöser and sixteen of his electrical engineering students from the Kaiserslautern Technical College in Germany visited HIGHVOLT Prüftechnik GmbH Dresden. “We are committed to supporting practical training for students,” says Dr. Ralf Bergmann, managing director of HIGHVOLT. “It is important that during their studies students already gain first experiences of how to use their expertise and technical curiosity to contribute to the success of companies like HIGHVOLT.”

First of all, the guests learned about the range of services offered by HIGHVOLT, followed by a visit to the production area and the inspection hall.
 

Here, the HIGHVOLT engineers Michael Hensel and Uwe Stephan did not only have to answer technical queries. “The young people also wanted to know which specific demands we place on young engineers,” Hensel says. “Some of the students might also make use of our offer to learn more about the working environment at HIGHVOLT during an internship or for a dissertation,” Hensel continues.
 

Following the visit at HIGHVOLT, the students visited SIEMENS AG Dresden which is linked to HIGHVOLT through close cooperation.
