We are delighted to report that our KIA student Jan Hartung has been recognized by Dresden Chamber of Commerce for gaining the highest grade in the 2019 electrical fitters’ examination. Coming top of the class as an electrical fitter in 2019 is a great achievement in itself, but Jan Hartung has done even better than that: he was the best apprentice in his field in 2019 for all of Saxony, for which he was honored on November 13, 2019. The regional awards ceremony, an annual event organized by the three Saxon Chambers of Commerce (Dresden, Leipzig and Chemnitz) took place at the State Museum of Archeology in Chemnitz.
Jan Hartung is currently studying Electrical Energy Systems at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, supervised by Dr. Böhme of the measuring equipment department. We look forward to working together and wish him every further success for his graduation in 2021.
At the event, HIGHVOLT was named an “Excellent Training Company” for 2019 by the Dresden Chamber of Commerce. This is not just a great honor, but also reminds us of our duty towards all future apprentices and spurs us to do our best.
