Helping to restore a suburban avenue in Dresden
The initiative to plant a new avenue of trees along Zittauer Strasse in Dresden was started by the former managing director of HIGHVOLT Prüftechnik Dresden GmbH, Dr. Bernd Kübler. “The planting of a tree is a symbol for growth and continuity. It is an investment in both the present day and the future!” he said.
Kübler had asked support for his project when he recently left the company to enter retirement.
“We were delighted to grant this wish,” said the present HIGHVOLT managing directors Dr. Ralf Bergmann and Bernhard Nick. “Our parent company, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen, donated €1,500 to permit realisation.”
Kübler was visibly happy: “It's good that the trees which were felled a while ago are now being replaced, and that Zittauer Strasse is regaining its avenue character.”
