DiTAS is used for both routine testing and temperature-rise tests on distribution transformers in the output class up to 5 MVA. The voltage source is accommodated in a robust and compact block, the control and feeding converter. This module can be placed either within or outside the test bed. Dresden, 13th October 2015HIGHVOLT is unveiling its latest new development at Transform 2015: DiTAS is a medium-voltage test system with static converter for the fully automatic testing of distribution transformers.
“The automatic configuration and control of test procedures, together with extremely simple creation of the ensuing test reports, will help our customers to save time and money, and that while also further enhancing quality,” says HIGHVOLT managing director Dr. Ralf Bergmann. The static converter enables fast and precise regulation of the frequency and voltage.
Visitors to the HIGHVOLT exhibition stand will be able to witness the user-friendliness of the control system for themselves. In addition, HIGHVOLT offers interested transformer manufacturers an opportunity to gather further information on the benefits and application possibilities of DiTAS within the framework of a product presentation at the company headquarters in Dresden.
