Stefan Bergmann during his presentation on “Induced voltage tests for power transformers” at the Transform Americas fair, which took place at Cartagena de Indias in Columbia from 26th to 28th May.

“The equipment for transformer test bays, both for induced and applied voltage testing, was one of the principal topics of our many conversations,” reports HIGHVOLT sales engineer Stefan Bergmann.

 “Interest focussed not least on our test systems with frequency converter for the testing of distribution and power transformers. The customers appreciate especially the simple installation and the flexibility of a modular system. Through the parallel connection of two or more test systems, it is possible to test even large power transformers in the GVA range. Another plus point is no doubt the low investment cost,” he continues.
