A busy atmosphere reigned on the HIGHVOLT fair stand.
The 39th Middle East Electricity (MEE) recently took place in Dubai from 11th to 13th February 2014. For three days, all spotlights were focused on the subject of energy, its generation, transmission and distribution. The expertise embodied by HIGHVOLT attracted unbroken interest among the experts visiting the fair, especially with regard to on-site testing.
“Our solution with static converters for transformer testing offers the customer both maximum flexibility and time savings. The test system can be set up on site in next to no time,” explains HIGHVOLT engineer Patrick Jansen. “The modular design and our newly developed digital controller also permit several systems to be connected in parallel, which even enables the testing of high-power transformers operating in the GVA range,” he continues. The majority of the fair visitors came from the Arab region, Pakistan and India. “This year, we spoke with an especially large number of HIGHVOLT customers who reported on their positive experience with our test systems,” says HIGHVOLT engineer Dan Keller, who rated the fair an all-round success. “As far as we are concerned, the MEE has developed into one of the most important trade gatherings in the region.”
