Dan Keller (right) was already engaged in intensive discussions with the audience during his presentations.
“Leading transformer manufacturers and power companies from around the country took the opportunity for an update on the latest developments in the branch,” says HIGHVOLT engineer Dan Keller.
LiMOS, the newly developed system for loss measurements on power transformers, stood at the centre of attention. Another important topic was the on-site testing of transformers with a static frequency converter.
Keller is more than satisfied with the results: “Both the event as a whole, and our own participation in particular, were extremely successful. We will no doubt be back when the transformer branch holds its next get-together at Volta in 2015.”
